Businesses filing 1099 information returns on paper (not e-file) must submit to the IRS along with the transmittal Form 1096.
Tax returns for S-Corporations (Form 1120-S) and Partnerships (Form 1065) are due. Request an extension with Form 7004 if needed.
The most important tax deadline. File your federal income tax return or request an automatic 6-month extension using Form 4868.
First estimated tax payment for the current year (Jan 1 – Mar 31). Required if you expect to owe $1,000 or more in taxes.

Automatic 2-month extension for U.S. citizens and resident aliens living and working outside the U.S. on the regular due date.
Second estimated tax payment for the current year covering the period April 1 – May 31.
Annual return/report for employee benefit plans with 100 or more participants. File electronically with the Department of Labor.
Third estimated tax payment for the current year covering June 1 – August 31. Missing this can result in underpayment penalties.
Extended deadline for S-Corporations and Partnerships that filed for a 6-month extension back in March.
Final extended deadline for individuals who filed Form 4868 in April. This is an absolute deadline — no further extensions.
Final extended deadline for C-Corporations (Form 1120) that obtained an automatic 6-month extension in April.
